In the case of Mattie Devore I dropped the book in my lap and had to immediately reread what happened. I was in denial, LOL. I thought to myself, "What just happened?".

Well, if you read the ending to the last DT book...it sort of suggests thst everyone lives on in a slightly different incarnation. Idk...I can't say I fully understand this universe of 'the wheel' and the multiverse. I actually liked Oy, though. I know a few fans that don't.
