But inquiring minds want to know if you've been through the medicine cabinets in the bathrooms! ;;D
Now, I thought we'd already covered this topic in another thread. ;-D You might have missed that one, though. I'd said I'm not one of those who ever goes into other people's medicine cabinets as I feel that's crossing a boundary line and a huge invasion of privacy. Unless I'd been asked to do so (and can't imagine a time when that would happen), I'd never go into theirs.

I recall reading one SK story talking about medicine cabinets. They give a pretty good idea of what's going on about peeps in the house...well at least a little. :)
Just want to add, that I have never sneaked into the cabinet of somebody else, unless they asked me to bring them something from it. But I have been curious, I must admit. ;)

I think I did miss that thread Ms. Mod. I, too, would never and have never done so. Not only is it an invasion of privacy, I think I might be too creeped out by what I might find! :disgust:

I have to wonder why anyone would even think of checking someone else's medicine cabinet in the first place.

I would assume due to his surgeries that strenuous activities involving his joints are forbidden, but I'm assuming.
Perhaps, but the book was published in 2011... and could be old stories being told. (Also, the games didn't sound very strenuous.)

I got a chuckle out of this line... “If someone kept statistics at Westways, Steve’s batting average would look like a real horror story.” I sure can relate.

The story sounded a lot like the softball games I played, some time ago. I still remember Bubba, carrying a quarter keg on his shoulder and a cup of beer in the other hand, stopping to chat with guys on his way to the field. I was catcher that game and one inning Bubba was going for home. I was foolish enough to try and block home plate. I'm not sure, but I think smelling salts were involved.

Not sure about the Westways games--not something he's mentioned. He does play tennis, though, so the injuries from his accident aren't preventing all strenuous activity.
I’ve given up playing “competitive” softball due to all my injuries, but I still coach girls softball. This is my last year, though (I fractured my left ankle stepping on a softball last fall and it still hasn't healed completely). My kid has now taken up tennis and is on the high school team, and she lives and breaths the sport. Which means I had to take it up again to give her some practice time, although I believe I wear more braces than actual tennis clothing.

Didn't you walk in a parade or something like that right after that ankle injury that hasn't healed completely? :smile2:

You remember that? Halloween parade... Well, I never claimed to be the sharpest crayon in the box. At my recent physical, the doc was taking audio notes and stated... “Patient walks with a gait.” God, that sounds so feakin’ old. :(
