Every man should grow a caterpillar on his top lip at least once. Some guys can pull it off, but some look like their noses just did spring cleaning and swept the garbage out on the curb.

The Man has had a 'stache for as long as I've known him (over 25 years). He hides two moles on his upper lip. It's shocking how much facial hair changes someone's face; he shaved it off once when we were first married and I couldn't even look at him without giggling :) It was like a stranger moved into our house. I've only seen him without it one other time, when the kids were little. They cried & wouldn't go near him, so he grew it back.

The hell with the 'stache or guitar... How about that pocket T-Shirt? I refuse to give mine up. I knew they’d come back in style some day. :)
WHAT? I have 3 penguin t-shirts with pockets, at £60 a pop. Penguin are super cool.

And no, that's not me, penguin might be that cool, but I'm not.

Don't know how big the "Movember" thing is in America, but every November around the 1st, for the past few years I have been close to shaving my chin and leaving the 'tache, but bottle out at the last second. Last year I grew a decent thickness of beard through out October, then using my beard trimmer, shaped a handlebar moustache leaving my chin with a light stubble just to see how it would look, then trimmed the tache to the same length. Although I do change my beard quite a bit, I have had hair on my chin for the past 13 years. Even though it would be back to a noticable stubble beard in about 5 days, it's still hard to change after that long. Plus, the muzzy is not as widely accepted in the UK as it is in the States.

;DD Daaaaaaaaaammmmn, he is looking GOOD! Don't tell my boyfriend I said that. :) Seriously he looks healthy and handsome! Man, I just can't win here. First of all, Sai King finally comes within a reasonable traveling distance of my hometown St. Louis...while I'm out of the country!! Secondly, even if I send The Boyfriend to go see him in my absence it's a non-signing event!! Whhhhhhhhyyyyyy?!?!? :a17::a17:

Hello Skimom2. I don't think we've met. I answer to Beatloaf, T2, Teri, or "Hey You!" That's a funny and cute story about you man's stache and the kids (and your) reaction to it being shaved off! :) Also, it caught my eye that you call him The Man. I call mine The Boyfriend though he is far from a boy, I just like the sound of it. Well nice "meeting" you!

My hubby has had one ever since I have known him; he never, ever shaves it off. I think he is afraid it will take his manhood away. When it gets unruly, I sit on him (nekkid) and trim it some as well as his eyebrows. "Just a little 'manscaping'" I tell him. His mustache hurts like a stiff scrubbing brush when it jabs into my face, is another reason I trim, plus I like his lips.
