Does anyone have hard cover of this book? Was it really only released as a Book of the Month edition?

While searching Abe and eBay for yet another round of SK books to add to my near complete collection (53 books so far with 5 more on the way!), I came across Storm of the Century. The fanatic in me wants to just go ahead and get it. lol

The only HC I know of is a BOTM edition. I have the soft cover put out by Gallery Books.
On thriftbooks.com they have both editions in very good condition for under $5.00 each.
Free shipping on orders over $10.00.

The only edition that was available to purchase in a bookstore was the trade paperback version. The hardback version is indeed a bookclub edition. I have both in my collection. I really like the hardback edition and it looks nice on the shelf. Sometimes publishing companies will do this. Why? Don't know. Guess maybe they thought that since the SOTC was only going to be published as a screen play instead of an actual novel by King, then a lot of folks wouldn't buy it? Even tho it's a screenplay it is still an enjoyable read- it showcases King's sense of humor more than the movie did. Lots of dark humor throughout. Another example of the trade paperback/bookclub hardback is Anne Rice's The Mummy. They did the same thing with this book and I don't know why as it's an actual novel (and rather good!).
