Finally caught this earlier in the week.

Liked it a lot. Reminded me of when I was a kid because I would have been about the age of the boys at that time (10 in 1983) and SwiftSis would have been about the same age as Nancy. And I was (still am) a nerdy little SwiftDog :)

Well written and acted. You can tell the series creators were heavily influenced by King, John Carpenter, Sam Raimi, and Spielberg. Hope season 2 is as good.

so i'm assuming everyone has seen this, but since i don't see it in this thread i'm just going to post it. this trailer is what finally tipped me over the edge to where i definitely had to see this show. and i binged it in 2 days earlier this week. thoroughly enjoyable show.

i was pretty much hooked from the beginning, and watching everyone find their own different paths into their knowledge of the shady stuff that was going on was cool, and when everyone finally compared notes and things really ramped up . . . crazy good fun.

by the way to those complaining of matthew modine, i'm pretty sure he got eaten, so no need to worry about him in future episodes.

I love this show, took me back to the 80s it captured that era well. It was also fun to watch and had me from the first episode, the theme song is so good, love the floating red STRANGER THINGS font assembling at the beginning. I can't wait for season 2. =D :victorious:
