NO PARTY.

Every Superbowl party I've been to where I've watched my team, they've lost.

I stayed home twice, and they won those times.

NO PARTY. STAYING AT HOME.

NO, I'm not superstitious. I'm just following behavior that works!

Not really having a party here, either. Just will be us. But I am making Velveeta dip, jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks and lil smokies in baked beans and either just a plain chicken strip or some kind of wings.

And beer. The rum will come out if things go south. ;-D

Anytime I make a lot of food, I call it a party......As far as I know, it will just be me and Cara here, and our crazy dog. It's a tradition that I make a lot of food for the Superbowl. Cara calls it junk food Sunday...... we graze all day long. I drink wine or amaretto, and Cara has some kind of healthy no calorie flavored sparkling water.
I'm now adding Lil Smokies to my menu......Thanks, CAT!

What? You mean there's a game on Sunday? How can that be without the Patriots??

Seriously though, not planning on watching the game. Neither team really holds my interest. Sunday will be a day of SwiftDog relaxation :)
I probably have zero chance of persuading you to cheer for the Broncos, huh? ;-D

I can't not watch the Super Bowl, no matter who is in it. It's the Super Bowl!!

Ditto! I watch even if it's two teams I hate. Commercials, people!!! ;;D

We aren't having a "party" either. School and work for us on Monday, but there will be mass quantities of junk food and adult beverages served. May even make some mocktails for DD this year.

So to answer the original question about what I'm making: probably nachos, definitely wings, spicy hot crab dip, something sweet (maybe brownies) and probably a small veggie tray so I won't feel totally guilty.

Doggie treats for the Puppy Bowl (me bad):dog:

Chicken wraps with spicy honey mustard sauce.
I'm watching the Puppy Bowl, and the Kitten Bowl too! I don't understand Football. I don't hate it, I just don't get it. But puppies and kittens I totally get.
My cats are getting fresh cat nip, and for special chicken livers.... which absolutely turns my stomach to cook but I do it for them on for special days. I'm making spaghetti with marinara sauce, for myself, a huge pot of it, a loaf of garlic bread and a green salad. The cats will eventually demand spaghetti and they shall have it.
