So, it turned out be a
satisfying
ending to a very disappointing season.

I honestly thought Mike deserved to win. I wouldn't mind Carolyn winning, but I thought he played a better game than her. You don't know how pumped I was when he won all those challenges tonight! HE BROUGHT IT! I was so worried for him! But, man he pulled it off! I think that deserves some respect. And I have so much respect for Jenn for her jury speech! Way to go, Jenn! She nailed it.

I still think Dan, Rodney and Will are horrible people. Dan just makes me SO uncomfortable! I just don't think he understands the consequences of his actions still (??) I didn't think he was geuine at all. I liked how Jeff just gave it to them, though. And Will should be ashamed of himself. He didn't seem sincere, either, to Shirin or what he did.

AND THEY DID THE BIRTHDAY THING FOR RODNEY. That was hysterical. I liked how Jeff just threw all the birthday goodies at him, haha!

But, I'm so excited for next season of Survivor (which is revealed to be Survivor: Cambodia!) Pretty much the people I voted for made it! I'm glad some of the "old schoolers" like Kelly, Savage, Jeff Varner, and Terry Dietz made it! I thought who got snubbed was Carolyn, Shane Powers, and Jim Rice. Oh, well! Next season should be really interesting!

But sadly, that also means the Survivor thread on the SKMB is going to be MIA for a bit :( I loved hearing everyone thoughts and opinions! Can't wait until next season to just to chat about it with you guys! :)

I was pleased with the way things turned out.

I was rooting for Mike to win the challenges, and every time he needed immunity he had it in one way or another. I was surprised that Mama C. only got the one vote -- I thought she was a bigger threat than that. The fire challenge was hilarious, although I think there was one time that it was worse. Probst gave the two people matches after they failed with the flint and it still took one of them ages to get a fire going! The final tribal was interesting -- Joe gave them all a pass, which I don't understand. I liked Jenn's bit, and the whole "dead fish" bit. Got a huge kick out of Dan banging his head on the podium when he voted. As clueless as Dan is much of the time, I think he offered a sincere apology, whereas I think Will is more generally clueless and couldn't even muster a half-hearted, semi-credible apology on national TV. Poor Dan got called out by Probst about the "yo mama" bit. Probst was relentless there -- roll the tape. I always like the post-vote post mortem and was a little miffed that they took up so much time announcing the next season. We didn't get to hear from a lot of players from this season.

Here, there and everywhere.
I finally noticed what you meant about Sierra's eyebrows. It does look like there's a tattoo there. There was a close up of Carolyn last night and I think she has tattooed eyeliner. I've thought about doing that.

So I wonder - she must have shaved her eyebrows off, had them tattooed on, and then regrown them. Which means she still has to groom/pluck/wax them. Maybe they are so pale that she wanted to darken them. Either way, the effect is distracting. And yeah, I noticed Carolyn's eyeliner, too. I've thought of having my lips permanently colored because they've always been pale, but it seems that the outcome is never quite as attractive or natural as I'd like when I see it on other people, so I'd be afraid to commit.
