This one would be better................

Glad they just played with all that crap they had set up on their picnic table. I thought it was a weird collection of "food"
:barf:
Even though I was not a fan of Baylor, she does seem to be able to sing at least.

Well, that was a surprise. It will be interesting to see
whether the collar differentiation continues to play any part in the game. I'm always amazed by how uneven these reshuffles end up being in terms of brute strength.

I think I would have preferred to see
the misogynist from Boston get voted out in the first council. The guy has no clue how offensive he is.

I also had no idea that being a Survivor expert
painted a big target on your back! But Max should have known better than to gloat over losing an immunity challenge, especially right after a merge when things are still unstable.

Kudos to Jenn, though, (or is it Jennnn or Jennnnnn?) for
making use of her conscientious objection time to find an idol.

It certainly was a surprise, and it broke my heart.
I know it's early, but I really wanted to see Max make it to the finale. I love superfans.

Regarding the tribal council in the first hour,
I agree that he was offensive, and seems stoopid with a capital S, but I chalked it up to things we didn't see due to editing. She seemed equally brash.

I love Jen(n)(n).
I think she, Joe, and Carolyn are all very likable and adaptable, and won't let their collar color limit them.

One of my friends said that his wife didn't think he was
all that bad, that he just didn't know how to properly express himself, but I seem to recall him saying he would have slapped her if they weren't on camera
.

I thought the same thing as your friend's wife.
I just assumed that he was raised to believe that women shouldn't sleep around before marriage. I also assumed that the girl who was voted off (her name is already gone) was probably over-sharing about her sex life, and he was trying to express to her that she should have more respect for herself. If I remember right, he said he'd spank her - something I also wrote off as just macho talk. I don't know, maybe younger people would find him more offensive, but I think in his strange, old-fashioned and somewhat Sicilian way, he was trying to help her by giving her advice.

No excuse. A man can only blame how he was raised for so long. After that, he's an adult and has been out in the real world long enough to know better. Dude needs to quit being such a misogynistic mama's boy and learn how to treat women with the respect they deserve.

I agree - I don't like him.

Still don't know who I like. But yes! They should have gotten
Will
out. But, it was kind of
Max's fault for saying how much he was a superfan of Survivor--that can definitely serve as a threat because it makes the other contestants think he knows the game very well and is strategic--he should have kept that and his Survivor trivia to himself!

So, what do you guys think of this season so far? I have to say I think it's only OK. I think my problem is the cast. To be honest, I kind of find a lot of them annoying...and I can't really pinpoint why...I think it's because all we've seen so far is a lot of them bantering and fighting all the time. (And I know there's a lot of bantering on this show, lol). No one just 'pops' to me :/ Jeff Probst has been hyping this season a lot in his interviews for EW, well, I hope Jeff is right at some point! I count on you, Jeff Probst!;-D
(Sorry for the rant, I think about this show way too much!:a11:)

I hear what you're saying though, True, about this cast. It's hard to get behind a tribe member when all it seems they do is argue and complain. Now that the merge is done I'm hoping we can all find someone to cheer for.

Besides Jenn that is.........;;D

Thanks, OoO. And I agree--I'm hoping to see some more game play, too! But with the two new tribes, it's interesting to see the alliances shift or same the same. Like with that one tribe that has all the guys and most of them are from the Blue Collar tribe, lol.

That one tribe sure does have an advantage in any physical challenge that's for sure. I'm hoping that we get an "eating something disgusting" challenge to possibly help even things up....:biggrin-new:

Haha! That challenge is one of my favorites!! I don't know how they do it--but if I was on the show and had to eat those bugs for a challenge, I would imagine eating my mom's lasagna, LOL;-D
