Better do it quickly as it's almost sold out now.I got the message from Cemetery Dance about the Tabitha King book and I'm going to order it.
ok, I'll do it after i leave here.Better do it quickly as it's almost sold out now.
Maybe this will push (I mean...inspire) her to write/publish more!Just received an email from Cemetary Dance announcing that Small World by Tabitha King has completely sold out in less than a week!! GO TABBY!!!!!!!
In the email Cem Dance said that they have 'exciting' news for Fans of Tabitha King, so since they've already made the announcement that they are planning on releasing all of her other books in this manner maybe it means that she has finally found a publisher for that novel that Steve listed at the back of On Writing'.Maybe this will push (I mean...inspire) her to write/publish more!
I hope she knows people really love her books. I sometimes feel like she doesn't know that.
I got super lucky - ordered just under the wire. They were over 95% sold out at the time and expected to be sold out completely by the end of the day.Just received an email from Cemetary Dance announcing that Small World by Tabitha King has completely sold out in less than a week!! GO TABBY!!!!!!!

I had a hard time with this book, even though I loved it when I read it. The problem for me was there were times when I would start a new chapter and after reading a few paragraphs realized that she was writing in a different timeline than what the previous chapter was in. I found it disconcerting. All this talk about Tabby's books makes me want to reread some of her stuff-- might revisit Caretakers over Christmas break.
This is the plus side to altheimers....I read "Small World" when it first came out and can't remember a single thing about it. One of the few benefits of getting older is that you can read these books again like they are brand new.

Yup, those three descriptors are really fitting of Tabby. Where are you starting with her?I just read Tabby's intro to Carrie (1991 Plume edition). First time reading anything she's written. Wow - she is blunt, straightforward, and tough (and also funny)! I'm now even more excited to start reading one of her novels.
I would like to start with Pearl (isn't that the one readers seem to prefer?). But will more than likely start with One On One because I bought a copy online a while ago at a reasonable price. Unless those of you who know her work suggest otherwise.Yup, those three descriptors are really fitting of Tabby. Where are you starting with her?
Pearl is my favorite but I also liked One On One. I think I'm going to reread it soon.I would like to start with Pearl (isn't that the one readers seem to prefer?).
