No - when I went to certain threads, there were icons under the title for related threads. Tags.

If you look at the search options-- you will notice TAGS is one of the tabs. It will give you words to use (tags). Not sure of exact purpose, but that is how I use it.
Yes, thank you. I just started seeing them. I must have changed a setting or something. I just did not want to click on one. Sounded like it was going to be a software link to FB.
They were included in the latest board upgrade, some folks use them to alert other users as to what might be included in their threads.
I hate those scratchy Tags you sometimes get when you buy a new shirt...

I will tag threads. I find it useful. A lot of times I will go searching for very obvious threads, but when I put in almost exact words for the search, it won't pull up the thread! It's weird. Or, it will pull up the thread, 3 pages deep. When you tag threads, it helps with searching.
My sister was rather upset with me for a while because about 15 years ago when my nephew was around 5 or 6 I was visiting and had a shirt on that was scratching my neck and I asked her to cut it off for me (I was still wearing it) so she grabbed some scissors and cut it off. Well, the nephew was there when this took place and ever since then he demanded that she cut out all the tags from his shirts.
Yep! I bet the kids today don't even know what 'Tag' is anymore....
My Philipino friends' young children play tag a lot!
I play phone tag a lot. This I where you call a client and then they call you back and you are gone. You call back, the game is endless.
