The Anchor is my first Tattoo, and I got it for an anniversary present. The Always and the date are actually my husband's handwriting. And the Cher tattoo is my second tattoo and I got it cause I am obsessed with Cher. :O

Nice! Those are great! I'm not brave enough to do a big one like those above but I love them and wish I had the guts to go bigger! rewoT91 and I have KA on our ankles. I have two other, not King related, and they are much bigger and hurt like heck to have done. I'm a wimp. But I guess not too much of one since I did it 3 times and am ready for another. They really are addictive...

My dad actually tattooed my mom's name on his arm when they knew each other 3 months. They were together since 16 yo, and I've never so much as seen her LOOK at another man since he passed away at 43, 18 years ago.

Sweet! I'm sharing that story with him. Not sure why, but I think it's just incredibly sexy. Sorry to hear about your dad, mine died at 43 as well.

I did! A friend of mine done those at my house one night! LOL I don't know how I didn't bleed out considering how much we drank, learned from those mistakes LOL.

Hey I say he should go for it! My second tat is my husbands and my initials with a couple of small hearts. I got it 7 years ago when we'd been married 36 years. My tattoo artist said what the heck, if it didn't last after that long a tattoo wasn't going to be what broke it up. Since we're still together I guess she was right. So far.
