I have one little tiny tiny heart on my shoulder. I got it (well, my sister made me get it) when we both got motorcycles at age 17. Big bad ass, thought I was. I can cover it with a dot of makeup.

I have told the horror story of my sisters devil tattoo and the what happened to it during her pregnancy before. :Oo:
I have not heard this story.....pretty please?

Jeeze. ok...

So she decided to get this devil head right below her belly button. As her stomach grew, the thing got huge! and scary! Every time the baby moved, so did the devil head. The eyes would pop out and move... When the baby kicked individual eyes would move. It was horrifying. I was afraid for babe.

She has had it removed. Baby turned out ok.

 Awesome. And frightening. Did you check your niece/nephews scalp for a 666 tattoo?
thanks for sharing.

When I was a kid I tattooed myself. It was accidental. I was with my mom at some friend of hers' house. I was on my hands and knees crawling around on the carpet and I crawled onto a pencil, the lead point of which broke and embedded itself in my left kneecap (I actually remember yelling). I'm uncertain why no one was able to, or attempted to, remove the thing. Anyway, meanwhile the skin absorbed the graphite and my left knee has mysterious punctuation to this day.

A lot of members here have cool tattoos. I've got two of them-- a turquoise star on the inside of my right forearm and the outline of a heart on my upper left arm that contains the names of my children. There was a tattoo thread a few months ago and I posted a pic of one of mine in it.

When I was around 18, I had my name tattooed on my upper arm and P.F.C. (Portsmouth Football Club) a little lower down.

They were home made with a pen, a sharpened matchstick and a needle... and looked crap! Thankfully, some 23 years later, they have almost completely faded away.

A photo from when it was still fresh, got this last year, the artist is a kids book artist called Gris Grimley and this is from a super cool kids book called, The Santa Claws. I also have a purple daisy on my shoulder and a dancing Hobbes on my forearm. My next one is going to be a stack of books, on my other arm :)
