To each his own but I would never get one. I can appreciate the artwork and all. The drummer in my last band was tatted all over and the artist that did his ink was really good. My Dad had a few, his 82nd Airborne tattoo being the most prominent. My little brother has a few as well. Just not my thing.
Honestly, they just seem so passé to me now. Everyone and their grandmother has them. Takes the coolness factor way down in my opinion. Kinda like Facebook. It stopped being cool when your parents got in on it, you know?

My sister and I bought motercycles. I don't know how my mom lived thru this time.
We rode everywhere. My butt is still sore. And I got hurt. Trying to hold the thing up before I fell.
That was way before girls had them.

So we drove in to a tattoo shop in Philly. I did not want to do it. But hey, I had a cycle and a leather jacket on! Thank God I only got a little tiny heart on my shoulder.
My mom just shook her head, I tried to hide it from her.
So there I am in my senior portrait she had to display smiling away with that damn heart in full view.

Dragging up this old thread. Scott and one of his therapists were chit chatting about tattoos and the therapist gave Scott a card from his guy. Turns out Brandon knows this guy too.
So last night I was looking at some of his stuff and oh my gosh....he looks just like Charlie Hunnam. I kid you not.

He does really excellent work, too. Not just a pretty face.

Right?? I know! I do have a DT design picked out that I've wanted to get forever. Timing has just never been right, but I may have to do that now. My birthday is next month!! He is booking into April right now, so maybe a late bday present.

Your husband might be onto something. My ex has my name on one ankle and my initials surrounded by 2 yellow roses on the other. I told her several years ago she shouldn't do that just in case....apparently, in addition to many other useless talents, I'm a GD gypsy fortune teller. Madame Fortuna ain't got nothin' on ghost.
