I like lots of different teas.

Green.
There's a label with "honey lemon ginseng green" tea that I like.
Pomegranate/blueberry/acai tea. I don't know if it's got enough stuff to be all that healthy, but it sure sounds healthy.
There's a vanilla chai tea that's really yummy.
Earl Grey, and we drank it before Picard came on the scene.

Really, I like a whole bunch of them. Nothing sweet, nothing creamy. Maybe a dash of liquor in the evening.

The only tea I drink...

I always drink Red Rose as well. Never drink coffee, don't like the taste of it (but it smells good). In Canada, we can no longer get the Red Rose
pictured and it was soooo good. Also, Red Rose makes a Canadian Blend
and an English Breakfast blend that are very good too. But they are only
available in the U.S. Go figure :umm:

And you get a figurine in every box. I have quite the collection. :)

My mother was born and raised in Ireland. She had tea every afternoon and it was always Red Rose. Tea was also her medical remedy for anything that ailed you. Headache... tea with aspirin dissolved in it. Skinned your knee... tea with milk and lots of sugar. A bad cough... tea with honey. Sore throat... tea with Irish whiskey. When she passed my sister got her Red Rose figurine collection.
My mom swore by tea too. She would put used and cooled tea bags on insect bites and minor scrapes on us when we were kids, it always helped. Smart.
Did you get any of the figurines? I gave my sister one of the kitties, it's her favorite. It sits on the window sill in her kitchen. You know it's funny how little things like that can mean so much.

....he's guilty as charged for me getting me started.....
I love Earl Grey, it's so tasty and it's as strong as strong tea ever wants to be. Unfortunately the Bergamot in it gives me indigestion. So when I get a hankering for Earl Grey I make sure I have Rolaids on hand. Lady Grey, however doesn't bother my stomach at all. I think the citrus in it cuts the burn of the Bergamot.
Earl Grey is also exceptionally compatible with Southern Comfort.

I've never found Lady Grey in the US. I like that one, too!

Didn't get any of hers, but I have a couple dozen now in my own collection. Odd though... Cheap little things with bad glazing... Why do we feel compelled to save them? :)

What's the deal with hot tea bags over the eyes?

I have never heard of using hot tea bags (ouch). Have used cooled tea bags on the eyes, very refreshing
and takes away the puffiness under the eyes.
They are good for treating a shiner too. I learned that when I was in about the 5th grade, after taking a few licks getting some things straightened out with the local school yard bully. Mama was so proud. She said girls shouldn't get into fist fights though, not if they could help it. Then she made me a cake. Yes, it was a Patty Cake.
