What will the sign say? Don't come in here if you are sick? or "Please don the proffered disposable mask which has been provided?"

I am not trying to be funny. We have signs similar to that in the hospital where I work.

He has previously put out a box of gloves and disposable masks. But, people put the masks on and pull them down, or think it's a cute joke, etc. No. It's not a joke. Last year he put a note that anyone sick was not to enter. Either phone or e-mail. One guy came in laughing about the note and coughing. My husband picked up his jacket and walked out. Many years ago he almost died from a flu. Just a normal flu. It weakened his lungs. Last year he ended up in the hospital for a week. Paramedics weren't sure he was going to actually make it to the hospital. He didn't have the flu, though the symptoms seemed like it.

So, his office is his "safe zone" at work.

...I find it amusing when I walk around in a dark jacket with the hood up and that mask on, people look at me like "DAMN! Never thought the reaper was THAT tall and a had a beer gut!".....

Well THAT IS pretty darn serious. I am sorry to hear this and I hope that people eventually get the idea and respect his wishes. That is no laughing matter.
