Apparently this is the best place to put a thank you note, so here goes! Lord knows if this will ever get to the man himself.

Dear Stephen King,

Listening to your latest book, Dr. Sleep, I was inspired to write you a note to thank you for all the hours of enjoyment you have given me throughout my life. (Well maybe not *given* but they were very affordable.) You are the best storyteller I have ever read. I am thankful for your very existence as well as the many hours of work you have put in to create the writing that has made my life better. So thank you, and please keep up the good work.

Sincerely,
Becky

Welcome Becky... Will Pattons voice is so 'resonant' too. He is the voice of Dan Torrence. It is deep and strong and conflicted. You'll find most of the fans on this site are as excited you about 'all things King'. Once you poke around a bit, stay for the conversation. You'll be able to converse with many people about whatever book you are reading. They really do become like family. Welcome

Welcome Becky. I've just been given Dr Sleep for Christmas and am waiting to get stuck in (for "stuck in" please read as when I have my rare mid week day off and I sit and read for 6 hours solid, frantically spraying polish in the air and flicking a duster around 15 minutes before man and boy are home, thus making them think I've done something other than read all day) :)

 When I had a year of Leave without Pay to look after my son I would fry onions in butter before hubby was due home as it made the house smell like supper was on its way! I'll try that frantic furniture polish spray and quick dusting next time hubby goes out! (Love it!)
