The 5 best Werewolf novels

I want to say yes but it's been so long since I read it that I can't say for sure. There's something in the back of my mind about reading a scene about him transforming. I could very well be confusing that with something else, though.

Wasn't the transformation scene when they had locked Wolf in that box? I really can't remember exactly but I feel that this is right.

Is it just werewolves, or Lycanthropes in general? HP III is technically a werewolf novel, and if you count Lycanthropes in general the two-parted Skin-man story from WTK is a great pick.

I've read 2, 3 & 4. Good werewolf books are hard to come by. I'll check out the other two you recommend.

I think Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde is also considered a werewolf-type story.

Thats a good point! Hadn't thought of it in that light. In that case it qualifies in my list. I thought of more wolflike changes and so missed that classic.
