Filming has begun on my next movie, ''The Ballad of Bullet Benedict''. Set in 1902, the movie follows a gunslinger named Benedict (grandfather of Buckshot from Merrick), who ends up assisting two strangers on the run from savage bandits.

It's still, broadly speaking, a comedy, but the humour is much less goofy than Merrick, and there are many moments that are dead serious.

I don't think it will take as long to finish, we are all getting pretty organised, and production is going along smoother. We managed to can about 10 minutes of it in just this one day.

I know next to nothing about filmmaking (even though my boyfriend studied it in college).

But from what I have seen in projects done by friends, I have only one advice.

Make sure any text included in the film (in the credits, in print, whatever) is correct (no typos, no bad grammar). I have seen you can write pretty well, so either do all text yourself, or have someone you trust doing them. And always doublecheck everything. If there is a deadline and the edition is done late at night, even someone who know how to write may end up skipping a letter or something.

And once it is done, if you upload it to the internet, care to share? How long are you planning it to be?

Did you see the movie that Ben just finished? It's in the thread called My Feature Presentation.

We've changed his name to Benjamin Cappycock.
