By the way, would someone be willing to curate a likely table of contents for the book?

I asked Steve last week if there was any update on the TOC and got this response:
".....the final table of contents hasn’t been decided,
either the stories or the order, but that one of the longer ones has never
been published in this country, and some not at all."

Sounds like we English-only speakers will finally get to read "Bad Little Kid".

Too early to say. I still don't know if he's planning to do one for Finders Keepers and that comes out in June.

Hey there - how did the whole "electricity outage" thing pan out?

So, I guess what took place was that the small transformer that is out there in the back of the home that is three spots down from me was too small to handle the electricity 'load' that was being forced upon it, so it kept overloading and then would shut off. They replaced it last night with a bigger one so hopefully there won't be anymore issues. If there is, then watch the news 'cause someone will have to pay and pay dearly....

So, so far we've got 3 confirmed stories: a revised version of "UR", "Bad Little Kid" and "Drunken Fireworks". I'm also excited to hear that there'll be new stories never published anywhere. I have to say I'm more excited about this than Finders Keepers.

I just read "A Death" on the New Yorker's website. This is a fantastic story that left me wanting more. I have so many questions. I hope this one will turn into a larger story.
