Don't Escape

The first game in the series is short and simple in premise and execution. You are a werewolf and tonight is a full moon. You must use what you find in and around your small cabin to lock yourself in before sunset comes and you transform into a murderous beast who will wreak havoc on anyone nearby if it manages to escape.

The system is a simple point and click. Left-click anything you want to take or use. At the top of the screen is your inventory, which includes a face that represents yourself. By clicking an object in your inventory and moving it to the face, you attempt to use the object on yourself. So, if you took some handcuffs earlier, you could click them, move them to the face and handcuff yourself.

The game allows the player the option to change the volume and brightness. I'd suggest increasing the brightness as some objects tend to blend into the dimness.

Don't Escape 2

The second game in the series is larger and more complex, being set in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. Your and your friend, Bill (who has been bitten) start in a somewhat broken-down building. You have eight hours to explore the building and the surrounding areas to gain what you need to help secure the building from a large horde of zombies who will arrive at the end of the eight hours.

Unlike the previous game, time is more of a factor here. While moving around and performing basic activity (taking or using items) takes no time, moving between areas and working on security projects costs time, sometimes several hours. Another factor is the presence of other NPCs, including Bill, who can potentially help you, if you get them what they want or need.

Don't Escape 3

The third game in the series is something of a departure from the first two, which featured fairly obvious situations (stay in the cabin; keep the zombies out). This game is more of a science fiction mystery horror scenario set aboard a badly damaged spaceship. In this game before your character can do something about his situation, he must first figure out what his situation is.

This game features the return of the "character face" to allow you to use things on yourself.
