Sorry if this has been posted before/needs merging. I've lurked for a while, and not seen it ;)

I just thought it would be nice to dedicate a space to sharing our personal victories, no matter how small :eagerness: I believe that every day is unique to every person, and that we shouldn't underestimate the impact of any problem on any person. [To clarify: Your worst-case scenario may be workable to the next person; also, I hate when someone is like, "If you've got a headache, I've been decapitated" :horror: If you get what I mean! Each person can and can't accept different things, basically, and that's fine!]

So yeah, share your good moments; latest, historical or whatever. That stuff is not important; the positivity is :biggrin2: I'll start by sharing mine below.

1. [Recent] The cat got a pretty-much clean bill of health at the vet; we need to book her in for a dental, and keep an eye on her weight, but she is otherwise declared healthy :glee: Furthermore, her cat tree is on the way!
2. [Ongoing] I am overcoming my social awkwardness, both on here and in day-to-day life :biggrin: {Big issue for me; even writing this message is an achievement, actually :redface: Thank you, SKMB!}
3. [Just amazing] I am now engaged to the most awesome man I have ever known, and as the STEPchild of another amazing man, that is saying something. [My bio-dad was not a good person, to clarify; to me, my stepdad is my male role model, 1000% :eagerness:] My husband-to-be is a male echo of me, in a weird way, & I have no idea what wonderful thing I did to deserve him :D
4. COFFEE. If you don't get what I mean by this, you should seek COFFEE.

Jeez, the cat tree is finally here at last. Only took two weeks?! The first courier messed up on a grand scale, but the company I ordered from sorted it right out for me, and now it's here and assembled :tickled_pink: She went to the very top earlier, and seemed impressed to be looking down on the silly humans ;) And that is my good news for the week!

Hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and New Year.

Definitely; I'm happy to share :smile: Am I right in thinking that photos need to be online already to upload them? i.e. you can't upload them directly from your computer as such? Definitely my dumb question of the day, haha ;) But yeah, I'll put some up for sure!
There is an upload file button next to Post reply. You can post from your computer. Just size them what it recommends.

I woke up today! Always a big plus, that one!
I agree! Though...
(I slept in the tent in the back yard with my youngest last night, he woke me up at 6:00am with the flash on my phone... and then to the sound of him making a 'movie'... I was less excited about the fact that I woke up today... at that point. :biggrin2: )

Aww, no worries, and thank you too :D Camping out in the yard sounds like fun, albeit the wrong time of year here! ;) You could probably layer up on clothes, sleeping bags and such....but the tent may well blow away xD
:biggrin2: It's probably not what I would try during winter... but I love that our summer coincides with the Christmas break. I usually put the tent up early in the season and it stays up all summer and is used as another bedroom really. The boys all take turns, or have friends over to stay in it with them.
