Since I looooovvvvveeee James Bond, I figured I'd start a thread about it for general discussion.

Anyone else like James Bond ? Got a favourite actor/movie/director ?

My favourite Bond actor is Roger Moore (followed closely by Dalton and Craig).

My husband and I are big Bond fans. My all-time favorite Bond is Sean Connerry followed by Roger Moore for sheer nostalgia (his are the Bond movies I saw in the theater as a kid growing up) tied with Daniel Craig for sheer sexiness. Although I saw all the Brosnan and Dalton movies when they first came out, the only one I can rewatch is Golden Eye. The rest are unwatchable for me, though my husband likes them. Honorable mention to George Lazenby for giving it the old school try in On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Some of my other favorites are:

Live And Let Die (maybe the weirdest Bond flick as this is like a 70s exploitation flick)

Just finished watching this for the umpteenth time. Probably my favourite Bond film.

Gotta love this bit, its awesome.

Oh...and Jane Seymour :lurve:

Big fan of Bond. Have been since I was a kid.

Best Bonds (IMO):
1) Sean Connery
2) Daniel Craig
3=) Pierce Brosnan/Timothy Dalton
5) Roger Moore
6) George Lazenby (whose only outing was dogged by a dodgy script and even dodgier alteration to the character, iirc; OHMSS is one of very few that I avoid).

Moore was too smooth and smarmy for me. Not to mention the fact that he was probably too old for the role by the time he was cast, and it was (and is) frankly cringeworthy to see him 'seducing' a series of women young enough to be his daughter...or grand-daughter in some later cases, maybe.
Connery and Craig both give the right impression of charm being a skin worn by callous b'stards who at least still care on some level.
