...Tracy is in lust with Sean Connery, I like Roger Moore-but think that Daniel Craig is more the "mold" that Ian Fleming was thinking of...
No disrespect, GNT, but...wth does Ian Fleming know? I've read that he'd imagined David Niven as the movie Bond, and that when Dr No was being made and Fleming was introduced to Connery, Fleming objected, referring to him as "that breathing Scotsman". But once Fleming saw some film footage he changed his mind about Connery

I grew up in the 60s. Sean Connery is the only James Bond. (And the original TV show Star Trek is the only Star Trek anything, dammit.)

I've seen all of the Bond films multiple times and I like all of them. Yeah, even Moonraker. Probably just because it's so goofy. I think Connery and Craig are the best, but I liked Dalton and Brosnan, too. On Her Majesty's Secret Service would have been much better as a Connery film, but I still like it. Lazenby had a tough job trying to replace Connery so I give him some sympathy points.

Roger Moore was pretty good even though his Bond was much different and older and the writing for his movies was kinda sucky. That's not his fault, though. I like his run-ins with Jaws and Christopher Walken and Christopher Lee.

Here is George Lazenby in dress Scottish shirt and kilt.

I actually have a photo (from a long time ago!) of Andy which is sort of similar. I think anyone who met him last summer in Ohio probably would not even recognize it as him!

Still, my favourite so far is Daniel Craig (if we are voting on Bonds) :biggrin2:

Goldfinger was a delight (at least when I first saw it). Bond coming out of the water early on with a full tuxedo under his scuba diver wetsuit was too cool, and impressive.

Those movies mean a lot to me. They were released at the perfect time for my age. Some of the spinoff TV shows became my favorites: The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Wild Wild West, Blue Light, Honey West.

I really enjoyed the Man from U.N.C.L.E. - especially that blond dude who played some sort of exotic (Russian?) or some other type of agent. Yuri Kurkeren (probably messed up the spelling but that is how I remember it).

Ilya Kuriakin, played by David McCallum.
