Been too busy here. Big meetings at work, and my daughter was in the school talent show last night and had several practices after school. (she sang "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" and did very well in my humble, unbiased opinion!:cool2:) Gearing up for Easter weekend, then the next weekend hubby and I are taking a much needed quick vacation a week before our 20th anniversary! Yeay! If I'm not around much, know I am here in spirit!:ghostface:

Yes I missed the court thing. I don't know if they had it without me or got it continued or what. Instead of testifying after YEARS of trying to get this jerk in front of a judge, I'm in the hospital bleeding from unusual places, getting transfusions because my bp is so low, getting poked and prodded and knowing that when I go home, it's going to be the same old noise. Only now I probably won't even have the hope to cling to of getting him in court because I blew it. But there's always civil court, I guess. And possibly the stress of all this to thank for contributing to the tag team of ulcers causing havoc in my guts. Such impeccable timing, too. Couldn't have waited a day to spring a leak.
But I'll keep my eye on the good news. It's just a couple ulcers. Not something worse. And if I can't get the city to prosecute again criminally, I'll find a way to nail him civilly.

I have no doubt that the constant stress of hearing his dogs, lack of sleep etc. coupled with the impending court case contributed to your illness. Our minds affect our bodies, as we all know.
