...there's a thought. And split whatever we're awarded.
Somebody recently sued for, and was awarded, half a million dollars in a dog barking civil action. Split several ways, that's still a LOT of money.

I don't know how you've made it this long. I always wonder how the people who own the barking dogs get any sleep. Or are they just never home?
Could you get a change of venue due to the relatives in town hall? I had a friend in a court case where the judge had like taken a class with a relative on the opposing side (they only knew each other by name), but that was reason enough to get another judge assigned to the case.

The prosecutor would have to request a change of venue, and he's not taking my calls, so I can't suggest it. Funny how that works.

My day doesn't suck quite as much now. Tall Guy went out and bought me some onion rings. And made me a hot drink (cup of coffee with a packet of cocoa mixed in). Leave a guy like this because of some asshat neighbor? I think not. I'll be visiting the DA next time he's in our bohunk little neck of the woods and ask him if he knows of a personal injury lawyer that might take the case. His kid is a personal injury lawyer, so... we'll see what happens.
