I have got a time for my next lecture. Tuesday. On the where and when and why of our languages origin. (With our i mean the indoeuropeiska languages). I was also asked to write something very short and to the point about the Native Americans (indians) of North America. Just a couple of pages to sum up their history is a challenge, wouldn't you say?

I'd say so! I just looked it up because I knew there were a lot but had no idea there are 562 federally recognized Native American tribes in the U.S., 229 of them located in Alaska alone.

Well i'll start with the Clovis culture and end with Wounded Knee. In between i just have to select what to tell to get a good context. Wonder how many recognized tribes there are in Canada?
