Nope, sad to say. ;-D I've never golfed! Is that something you enjoy doing?

I used to be pretty good at it, but haven't played in years. A lot of years now that I think of it. To expensive for me now to even think about picking it up again. It's fun, but frustrating at times. As with anything it's about practice (and having a friend who worked the links at the local club LOL).

How about miniature golf CAT? I'll show you how to beat the windmill....HAHA!!!

I was a golfer too. In the years I played, I got one birdie on a par 4. It was beautiful.

Oh gosh. I think I have played mini golf once is all! At some restaurant, maybe in Denver? I was young.

My grandpa used to golf a lot. Not so much in the summer, can't take off in the middle of the day and grow crops. But in the fall, after harvest was done and on the occasional nice winter day. :)

I bet you can still hear the distinctive noise the ball makes as it hits the bottom of the cup.........Ahhhhhhhhh. And I like your way of thinking, we won't mention the holes where we got single double or triple (enter name of famous movie star who commanded The Caine here.........).:D

I really enjoyed golfing. It was peaceful, but man! I had to hit the ball waaaay tooooo many times. So, those nice drives, great chips, one swing and out of the sand, and a dropped putt were all lovely to do.

I played in a league for many years. Average player. Agreed about being enjoyable and frustrating. Once got a manatee on my second shot at course in Miami. Had to give it up about 20 years ago. My younger years of playing football and skiing has destroyed my right shoulder, and I refuse to get a replacement. But have never been able to part with my clubs.

Is that better than an eagle?

I don't know. Hit a few ducks on the course in my day but never an eagle. It was rather exciting, though. I sky'd the ball on my second shot. It hit the water and 'bounced' onto land the other side of the canal. We were all stunned that the laws of physics didn't apply on the course. When we went over the bridge we saw a huge manatee just under the surface of the water where my ball hit. Said... "Now it makes sense."
