It's been a little over a year since my good friend and former teacher, LaVerne died. As I was remembering the good times, and appreciating the impact she made in my life, I remembered that she always wanted us to write a book about our experiences in the cosmetology industry. We used to laugh and say that we'd have to change all the names to protect the guilty......
So, in honor of LaVerne, I've decided to start the project. It might take me a year, it might take me five years, or it might take longer.....but I'm doing it.

Thanks, y'all! I don't have the first clue what I'm doing......just going to start by writing down memories as they come to mind. Later on, I might ask some others who knew her to share. I had known her since I was 14, so I might have enough material on my own.
Somehow, I think LaVerne will have that covered.......Very cool.......need a ghost writer?
