That is where I'm from! Well, from a tiny town about 15 miles from there. Most of my family is in or right around Scottsbluff.

I am glad that I am not the only one feeling bummed for not taking part at the Kon.

Maybe I can save some money and fly over the big pont next year a dream would come true.

We will have to plan ahead for 2018 and go to whichever location is chosen for the big event!

Right now it is 90, supposed to get to 97. (36 C) Not much better than yesterday! I guess there was a fist fight at the rodeo yesterday, between parents. Only thing accomplished was getting their kid kicked out of the competition. I bet the heat had a little bit to do with it. No excuse, for sure. But it is brutally hot.

Rodeo? Sounds like a lot of fun!

Let me get this straight. I'm stuck in Flagstaff with a broken car, my son is disappointed yet again, I'm good, but the board is CLOSING for the weekend? What else is there? . . really, this is funny somehow. . .

The Board is closing? Oh well - we will have to catch up next week then!

I plan on taking off for the Lake of the Woods region on Saturday - I don't mind having to be here on a staycation, but I figure I deserve at least one day off - road trip!

Hi Spidey - yes - that's the best way to catch up. I go back to work on Monday the 25th but it has been nice to take a wee break from the day to day grind of typing all the time at the hospital.

I got a 6S iPhone from Apple and I am now on the Bell network. Once I figure out how to transfer photos from the camera to the computer I will attempt to post some 'holiday pics', such as they are.

Happy Friday!!

Been busy with work and everything else so haven't had much time to stop by. All is well here. We have had very hot
here 25C and sunny almost everyday. Been at the beach and cool off when I have had time on my day off and after work.

Hope you all doing well and hope you have a great weekend as well. A work weekend for me.
