We lost just about everything in the house, two cats and a bird.
Gonna be a long couple of days. Weeks. Months?

I had an interview today. The possibilities are interesting.

But it brings to mind the Pink Floyd line (sorry, danie, but it's completely evocative here):

Did you exchange
Your walk-on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?

I don't know how the interview process will come out, but at this point, if it came out favorable to me, I'm probably selecting the lead role in a cage.

I'm in the autumn of life. Different sensibilities prevail than in earlier times.

Sigh.

If none of this made sense to you, I apologize, but it's striking at the core of my being right now, and I had to express it somewhere.
