Holly. Charles Osgood just announced retirement. :cold: He sang a song.
Oh dammit! I had to miss it but I recorded it. I didn't want to miss Barbara Streisand.

Do you know, just now is the first time I have sat down since I posted that lovely good morning bird? With the exception of mass - which really is only 1/3 sitting. You know: 1/3 standing, 1/3 sitting, 1/3 kneeling. Busy. My feets hurt. I'm going to have rotel dip (with a spoon) and ice cream for dinner.

Say it isn't so, Charles. I've been having my Sunday morning coffee with him forever.

I buy this brand of seasoning salt and it has one of those old school Parmesan cheese tops where you have to break off the plastic tab but it doesn't completely break off and it hangs down in the container and if it does break off it drops into the salt. What is the purpose of these kind of tops? Can anyone give me one reason why they exist? ;-D

That tab is to choose the "I want a whole lot of salt at once" option. It is unsanitary but you get more salt at once! Now, this is not actual salt, you realize. One time in Derry, . .damn this is a good story about picking up salt. I'll have to leave you hanging for a bit. . .

Does anyone know the best way to get the smell of a burnt pot out of the house?:umm:

The pot is sitting outside as of last night - it was burnt to a crisp but luckily did not burst into flames.

I also thought my ceramic top stove would be ruined but it seems to be no worse for wear!

Have a good Monday everyone!:biggrin2::love_heart::suspect:

Maybe the tab keeps the stuff inside the container from clumping up in humidity?......kind of like adding rice to the salt shaker?
I use this seasoning salt too.....in a lot of dishes.
I also use Old Bay Seasoning often......and I don't even eat seafood.

I'm always wondering how many hands have been on that pace of plastic hanging down in the container that I can't get rid of. ;-D
