Took a little trip to see my doctor - he tells me that my throat and gland problems are most likely a viral infection therefore he did not give me any antibiotics.

I took an extra strength ibuprofen which he prescribed, so now I am feeling a bit better

Got some chicken noodle soup from M & M Meat Shop and it's heating in the oven right now

I'll just take my Jewish penicillin (chicken soup) and maybe try to wear one of those disposable masks at work - no use taking a sick day since it's too soon to do something like that - I'll wait until I'm feeling like I can't get out of bed for that (fingers crossed that doesn't happen)

...let me give you a bit of a tip Neese.......next time?.....go to your local dollar store and buy a bottle of Ibuprofen for next to nothing....they'll be 200mg pills and you just take 3.....voila, "extra strength" and hella cheaper than going to the Doc and pharmacy.....

....unless it's something highly contagious, to hell with a mask....get sick, let your immune system learn to buffer all the bugs and you'll be amazed at how many times you DON'T get sick.....

It's okay - the prescription cost me nothing at all (of course I do have to pay Blue Cross through my pay but still...)
