I apologize for the flurry of very angry, very drunk posts in the other thread last night. I'm not really angry with any of you (though you may now be angry at me).

The incident in Manchester....
I don't even want to try and express that, but again it was wrong to take it out on you guys . Please forgive me for that.

Last day of school. A break from early mornings and fighting for the bathroom and making lunches and hearing "MOM! Where are my shoes?!?"



Alison brought home the President's Award for Academic Excellence yesterday. We are proud of her.

Happy Thursday!!

My day off was great until this happened (a picture of my arm)

Uno bit me by mistake. I was out with the dogs, when suddenly the neighbor dog escaped and tried to come and say hello to my
dogs. The neighbor dog was a male dog and Uno hate male dogs. So Uno started to bark and of course I was put my hand and arm front of his nose/mout so he don't bite this other dog ( my mistake) and here are result a big wound in the arm and a smaller wound in the hand. This other dog just wanted to play, but Uno though he was a threat. I had to go to hospital so the wounds don't get inflamed. The nurse just put a plaster on the wounds and gave antibiotic and two days sick leave. My day didn't end as I thought.

Our oldest ex President Mauno Koivisto was buried today and they show his funeral on the TV. So have been watching that too. Was a big happening here in Finland, since so many people, even people in my hometown had the flag in half mast. He was a great man and did many good deeds for Finland even when he was a president during 1982-1994. He was two periods as a president.

I guess I'll post in The Latest Movie You Watched or whatever thread is similar, but I just watched a documentary called "Marathon - the Patriot's Day Bombing" - if you get a chance you should watch it. I had tears going down my face.

Makes me wonder how the people over in Manchester are doing now. It's a long hard road to recovery for those who were injured (as well as mourning those who died). Prayers for those over there who are dealing with such a horrible act.

You've all been very gracious and kind in responding to me. I am still upset, angry and confused but all last night achieved was adding embarrassed to the list. Anyway, it seems like y'all understand the place I was in so I won't try to keep explaining it.
