Yes! - especially today - first day back after two weeks off - yikes!

The only bright light at the end of the tunnel is that I get to leave a bit early due to a doctor's appointment this afternoon

Morning Gunners, happy Monday.

Well the cough and the fever I get in the evening, wont go away for weeks and weeks now, so I did an x-ray on Saturday. I should know the results today.
If it`s pneumonia or just some virus, all right then.
But if it`s something worse....well that would not be all right, would it now?
My doctor opens in a few hours, so I`m waiting to call him.
Gotta admit, not easy to wait, I`m kinda nervous if something is gonna show up on the x-ray.
Well, hoping for the best.
Hope you had a good weekend.

The only medicine my doctor gave me so far was some kind of liquid Percocet...it makes you high, you actually get a real buzz from it, like you had a few beers and it stops the cough for a couple of hours, but it didn`t eliminate it, so that`s why he sent me to do the x-rays.

Alex ended her earthly journey this morning, and although it was extremely hard, I know she is her old healthy self again somewhere in a perfect world full of tuna and all the whipped cream she can eat. Love and (((hugs))), and I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Well - gotta go get into my "back to work" frame of mind now - it's on days like this that I feel like putting in my 2 weeks notice and just coming back as "casual" - I wonder if we could afford this?

I'll probably be okay once I'm back on my usual afternoon shifts

My baby girl was on prescription food for half of her life. Please keep us posted - if you have to (or want to! ) keep caring for this precious dog, I will find a way to send you some money to help. (I think I still have your address unless you've moved.) Once again, God bless you for caring for this beautiful dog.

My mother is flying in from Phoenix for a week long visit on Wednesday. I asked her to create a list of things she's been wanting to do since she left New England twenty years ago, thinking I might make a loose itinerary. She texted me the following list:
Beach
Lottery
Boston
Lakes Region
Mountains
New England Center (a delicious brunch spot at UNH)
Vermont

I called her upon receiving this, telling her "mom, it looks great....but what did you mean be "lottery", you can play that anywhere....am I to assume it autocorrected from Kittery?"
Yep, that was the case.

That is just so unfair to you and the dog. I may have missed it, what breed? Yes, special diet food is very expensive and sold in limited places-- this I know well.

I see your fear about the care, or should I say lack of care the dog will get if you do not continue. It isn;t right. Your friend should not have a companion dog. Please keep us posted.
