Science fact: When a man who's seen six decades of life doing mostly sedentary work spends the day loading, wheelbarrowing, unloading, and spreading about 40 loads of mulch, as well as doing tree trimming, shoveling, and general yard mayhem, that man will be sore and tired at the end of the day.

I never got to punch out more of my story, but in my head, I know it's good. On paper, no clue.

When did we put in all those stairs? Oh, man.

Good night, all.

Good Easter morning ya"ll! We have family coming over around 11:30am for brunch and an egg hunt, then I'm going to nap. I'm making one of those breakfast casseroles with crescent rolls, sausage, eggs and cheese, and some hash browns, bacon, waffles for the kids, maybe if I can get off this computer I'll make some cupcakes. Enjoy your celebration - and if you don't celebrate, enjoy a peaceful day!

Happy Easter, Tet-Mates!

I am not cooking until this afternoon, so will have a while to relax. Brandon, Alyssa and little RJ will be over mid-morning for a while, before heading out to eat with Alyssa's family. The kids were up bright and early and hubby and I were poked awake, to let us know the Easter Bunny came! ;)

Have a beautiful day. Love you all!

Wait til tomorrow, man it takes a good 24 for the real soreness to kick in..oh well, use some Ben Gay or other heat source and u will be OK..;)

Actually, I seem to have slept most of it off, once I got to sleep, because no position was really all that comfortable. My obliques (lower back) don't want me to bend, much, but that's part of being this age, I'm figuring.

Happy Easter Sunday to all!
The kids surprised me with a cookout today. Much better than a pot of red beans and rice! Right now, the burgers are on the grill, the corn is wrapped and ready, and I'm enjoying the smell of burned lighter fluid wafting through the yard. It doesn't get much better than this.
:)
