How in the world do I top fine dining like Deviled ham on crackers? I just don't know what to have for supper. I'm getting kind of sick of yogurt, though I HAVE to eat it every day. It's one of the few proteins I can tolerate. I just want something different. And nobody gets paid until next week. Guh. So I have to forage through whatever we've got. There's plenty, but I'm tired of the same things.

Black beans and rotel tomatoes, sautee some garlic in butter to add to it. Squeeze a lime over it. Yum. High protein with the beans. I think that's what I'm having.

Busy morning! Muffins made, kids to school, Horsedog to groomer, made laundry soap, washed two loads, cleaned and organized under the sink and my dish cabinet, and put on a pot of ham and beans for dinner--and it's not even noon yet! Still a list of things to do, but Imma sit here for a few and sip my coffee. There are a few lavender/lemon-thyme muffins left if you want one :)
SkiMom, When you make your own laundry soap do you use the recipe that makes a five gal bucket? The fels naptha/borax/soda etc recipe? And if so, how many loads do you get approx from your bucket?? I want to make this, but wondered how much it really makes? I do tons of laundry a week and I don't like using commercial soap w/chemicals. Thanks! Also those muffins sound awesome!

Good morning, everyone. Since it's Thursday, I brought Harry in to play with Buckwheat and Pyro a little. ;)

The kids have had swimming lessons in PE this week. Poor Ty came home with red, swollen eyes. He looked like a raccoon, only pink rings. :O_O: They were going under and opening their eyes in the water so I don't know if it was a reaction to the chlorine or if it's allergies. All the kids have had swollen, watery eyes this week. I gave him some allergy medicine and this morning his eyes look normal again. We'll see how he does today!

Hope you all have a great Thursday! Sending big hugs and positive vibes to all!
