Ahhhhh! Thanks for the tip.

I can't use Tide or i break out like strawberry jello and sneeze my fool head off. Same thing with Bounce. I have to be careful about fragrances, lest I offend the super-sniffer.

Yep. I had a helluva time keeping track of who was sensitive to what fragrances in which soaps (we have this issue with shampoos, too), and I'm the worst. I actually have scars on my waist from the single time I tried 'cheap' detergent-- I got terrible hives that turned into open sores very quickly. It's just easier to make this and no one gets the itchies :) We're down to a single type of fabric softener sheet that works for everyone now, too (none of the liquids work), so I'm investigating how to make wool dryer balls. I'm earthy-crunchy from necessity more than conviction (about laundry, anyway)--lol

I have to do the snif test in the store before I buy anything new. Unscrew the cap and give if a whif. If my eyes don't water and throat close up, it's safe to try. Most of the time, though, I have to put it back.

Ours are more skin allergies. For example, vanilla scented shampoo smells great, but 5 out of 6 of us get itchy sores on our heads when we use it. Strawberry is the same... actually, most faux-fruit scents. Makes shopping an adventure :p

Exactly. It's got to get past the sniff test before i let it anywhere near my skin, for the same reasons.
