What Holly said! It's only sausage gravy if you use sausage to make it. In a pinch, I have even made it with a bunch of butter!

So, in summary, there is white gravy for biscuits and such, brown gravy for mashed potatoes and salisbury steak, and don't forget turkey gravy which can vary in color but is much thinner than either of the others. This completes Gravy 101.

Now I want some gravy, dang it!:angry_002:

LOL Gravy 101. And don't forget, the Italians call their sauce "gravy", but it's a little different, huh? We need the pork fat. I was watching Frankenfood last night and caught this little gem:

Clint Cantwell presented his little pig called Pork E. Pigskin with smoked sausage legs, ham ears, hot dog nose, pork rind tail, with a ground sausage body wrapped in bacon, that gave him three yes votes.

All the guys loved it. I want one.

Hi everyone. Kids ended up not coming home yesterday. We decided since we were going there on Wednesday, we would just save them a trip. But oh how I wish they would have just come home.

They were at the pool and someone knocked into Ali, she knocked her mouth on the edge. She has a pretty good chip out of one front tooth and the other one is broken off, about halfway. Couldn't do anything about it, they called with the news minutes before Scott needed to leave for work.

Got her an appointment with a dentist for tomorrow. Our wallet is sure taking a beating lately. We have dental coverage but am unsure how much we will be helped by it for something like this. Been doing a lot of :sadface:. I feel so bad just being at home enjoying a break. :sadface::sadface: She is not in any pain but she sure looks rough. :sorrow:

Oh man, that stinks, CAT!! Glad she isn't in pain and hope it goes well at the dentist. Ah kids............

Good Tuesday everyone!!
My 12 hours workday is finally over. I am pretty tired now and my legs hurts. Boyfriend was kind and came to see me when I was
in work. He waited until my workday was over ( not 12 hours, he came 15 min before my workday was over) I guess he was in need of a hug
and a kiss from me. =D We couldn't do anything together today when I had to work.
Been sunny and 20C/ 68F. When my vacation begin forecast says super heat wave. Temperatures can go to 35C/ 95F sounds fine by
me, I can lie on the beach all day long. :cool2:
