I hope you and Juno? (Juju?) - [I am sorry I forgot his name] enjoy your first autumn together! Nice new pic for your avatar Jojo87 :)
(It feels like summer is over here, too)

His name is Juho. :smile2: It's OK Neesy. I haven't mentioned his name many times, I always say boyfriend. Thanks it's actually great to have a another
person by my side, to know that there is a man who loves me (I had already lost my hope before May). I don't miss my single days at all.

Been a good Tuesday. I washed my car and did some other chores. My last day off. Tomorrow back to work. I work evening shift so I go to work
2:30 pm first and work until 9:15 pm. It's a easy start and I don't have to go to work early tomorrow morning.

Today it's been sunny and 15C/59F Boyfriend said yesterday that forecast says 20C/68F for Thursday. WHAT is summer return. :cool2: we'll see.

Have a great day everyone and take care of you. BTW my flue is better. The hot chocolate and painkillers I took last night helped Yay!! Boyfriend
told me to do so.

((((all in need or not))))

Evening everyone. It's getting dusky earlier and earlier now. Summer is definitely getting ready to slip away. I like Autumn, the first log fire, leaves turning. Boy goes back to school Thursday, into his last year at junior school. Time goes so fast. Jojo, so glad to see you so happy still.

After 3 days in school, I already have a sick kiddo. Un-freakin-believable. Ty had a fever yesterday, but by bedtime was cool. Temp is back up this morning though, so he will be staying home today.

And the 12 year old got out of bed with major attitude. SIGH.
Ugh! Let's hope they're getting it out of the way now so it doesn't happen again.

Just going to rant a minute. I really don't understand or appreciate the people who send their sick children to school. Keep them home! Quit spreading it around! Have a little bit of decency and think about everyone else's kids being exposed. And how do people not feel bad for sending a child who does not feel well to sit at a desk and have to try to pay attention, when they should be home resting?!?

I am more than a little mad that this is going on already. I am mad Ty has to miss, because of someone else's complete disregard for every other kid in that building.

I hate it when my kids are sick. And I know it happens. But for the love of all that is holy, I wish people would be responsible. Sorry. Rant over.
I remember when our kids were in school and it just seemed like it was never ending cycle. If some parents could use a little bit of common sense, it would be amazing how much less our kids would be away from school.
Unfortunately, some families use school for daycare when the parents are off working. If there's nobody home during the day, they "have" to send the kids.

Completely agree Tina. Over -use of antibacterials is not a good thing. Children's immunity is on the decline, sad to say. Vit.C and D are good preventatives. Also garlic- After being outside in fresh air all summer, the children are confined to a classroom and are not in the sun as much either. Many healing vibes for Ty and all those who will have sick school children.
Has anybody tried the onion trick? Keep a sliced onion in a bowl in every room of the house to soak up the germs? Some homeopathinc practitioners swear by it.

How wild are you?
I got 57%.
You aren’t afraid to let things get a little crazy from time to time, but you also like to keep one foot on the ground. Although losing control may lead to some laughs, you don’t always think it’s worth the risk. It’s all about picking your spots and finding the right balance...

I got 26% "Completely Domesticated"
Okay, so maybe you’re not *completely* domesticated, but you don't really like to venture out of your comfort zone, either. We actually don’t blame you. After all, they call it a comfort zone for good reason: It’s comfortable!

Not only should they not send them to school, they shouldn't take them shopping either. Everyday at work I hear kids hacking up a lung or sneezing like crazy or sniffling, etc. I don't ever remember my Mom taking me or my siblings outside of our home when any of us kids were sick. When I was a kid, if you were sick you stayed home and sat in front of the tv all day and got better.
