*strolls in slowly, stifles a yawn and settles into a seat* Greetings Tet Mates. Didn't mean to stay away for this long. Just been busy. *rubs my face* My lady's family being difficult, the holiday and such. Felt like a headless chicken for a few days. This last week I have been focused on my poetry. I will be trying to paint tonight. Someone requested me to do a painting. So I am going to go study some photos and see if I am able to pull this off...

Wulfie! Good to see you!
Good luck with your painting. Can't wait to see.

You are 63% wild, which makes you a "Wild-a-Beast.

Once you loosen up (perhaps after a few drinks) just about anything is possible! And, frankly, that's the way you like things to be. After all, some people want to wake up with a good story in the morning. As for the rest, well… *yawn*.
Just don't let anyone take pictures of your shenanigans, missy. And, if they do, don't let them send them up to the Cloud.......

Yep Neesy, I am a stay at home mom. And I do understand having a hard time with finding reliable daycare or having to miss work because of a sick child. I was a single mom for 8 years, so I do understand that side of it as well. I always called in if Brandon was sick in those days, even though it always put a serious cramp on the finances, and it hurt us both in the long run. Most daycares/babysitters have the same type of rules regarding illness as the schools do. I just wish people were more considerate. If someone does not have a reliable caretaker, sending them to school anyway just puts the next person's kids, their ability to show up to work, etc in jeopardy as well. But I do understand that not everyone is as fortunate as I am, in being able stay home.
You are right and I wish to apologize. I fired off that post quickly this morning at work, without really thinking about it :zip_it: (I tried to pop on for a quick few minutes but really I shouldn't be on here at work anyway!) :a11:
I hope your son gets better quickly and gets back to school so he does not miss too much of his school work

How wild are you?
I got 57%.
You aren’t afraid to let things get a little crazy from time to time, but you also like to keep one foot on the ground. Although losing control may lead to some laughs, you don’t always think it’s worth the risk. It’s all about picking your spots and finding the right balance...
You are 79% wild, which makes you a "Wild-a-Beast."

Neesy, no need to apologize. :) You are right, it is not as easy a decision for some people to just keep kids home as it is for me, being at home all the time. I am fortunate in being able to be home with my kids. You were completely right in pointing that out. I was really frustrated that we had only made it through 3 days of school before one of them was down.

Ty's fever broke with just one more dose of medicine yesterday morning, and early enough to pass our 24 hour rule. So hopefully when he gets up in a little bit, he is still ok. He was up and fighting with his sister last night, so I know he is feeling better! ;-D

Thank you all for the well-wishes for my boy!!

Well, I take back what I said about Ty being better. He just got up and his fever is back. Just a degree, so it isn't as high as yesterday morning or Monday, but he will not be going to school again today. Is also complaininf of a headache. :apologetic: Poor kid. I wish I could make him all better.

And this is somehow supposed to reassure me?

Seriously, you need to trust me....it's not like I can actually turn you into a toad.....unless you happen to be drunk down by the river, and then anything is possible, I suppose.....you'd have to ask uncle Pete about that

She didn't sacrifice the bird on Sunday, did she?

 You know I would never do that!!!......well there was the one time, but I still say Bernie had it coming

How am I supposed to know what she does with her fowl? How much of this stump water she have on hand? We talking like a couple bottles full or enough to water the lawn?

I have enough stump water.....that's all that matters.

When you and Sunny go out which one wears the conical shaped hat with the crazy star constellations and Babylonian images on it?

Oh you silly boy!!.....I'm from the South, and live in the Appalachian Mountains......it would be frowned upon if we wore anything as flashy as all that garb!
