Quite an experience at Wal-mart today. We took the son to get signatures from the Titans Cheerleaders and Tpac. Hubby and son went to the restroom ,some guy was unconscious, his nephew was yelling and of course my hubby stayed with them until the paramedics came. So my son is scared. He had a few rough looks on in face in his pics with the cheerleaders. I sure hope the man is ok and that my son forgets this experience quickly.Just a freightening thing for kids.
What a kind thing for your husband to do! Any idea what happened to the man? All you can do is reassure your son - poor kid - kids worry so much.

We are not sure. He was curled up and my hubby and his nephew lied him down. But said he was turning blue . Wal-mart of course had my hubby answer questions while they documented the incident. all we know is the ambulance left with lights and siren. i am thinking perhaps a stroke or heart attack.

Prayers for your son-I'm sure your love and support will help him forget the bad scene! Hope the man is okay too.

Oh my gosh - yes, turning blue is not good. Very scary.

I'm pretty floored. I found out today that somebody wrote a story that has a strong female lead with a name that starts with D who kidnaps people and has a lover/slave named Jeremy tied up in the basement.
I doubt any of you have read my book, but in it, I have a strong female lead with a name that starts with D who kidnaps people and has a lover/slave named Jeremy tied up in the basement.

I spent about an hour so angry all I could do was shake. I'm almost fully recovered now, thanks to my Tall Guy listening with a sympathetic ear to me rant and rave. And buying me Chinese food. But it'll be a while before I get over the sheer and utter NERVE of it all.

Was yours published? Do you think the other person read yours?

Mine was published years ago.
We have something of a history, she and I.
She made the mistake of ripping off my daughter in a publishing scam. My reaction was so relentless that there was no other choice but to give my kid her money back. So I have no doubt whatsoever that it's a deliberate act.

Oh... that's not good. Perhaps there is some legal recourse then?

I don't know if I could win a suit. She made her strong female lead into a witch and wrote it as erotica. Mine is just a psychopath and I wrote mine as a thriller. I fear that she might have changed it just enough to get away with it.

What a low life! On a better note-what's the name of your book? I would LOVE to read it! =D

And let's face it. I'm hardly famous. Not like my book is iconic or anything.
Doesn't matter how famous you are, plagiarism is plagiarism. It might be worth the time and $ to have an intellectual property lawyer give you an assessment of your case, especially if she's in the US. Outside the country--different story (experience talking here).
