Doesn't matter how famous you are, plagiarism is plagiarism. It might be worth the time and $ to have an intellectual property lawyer give you an assessment of your case, especially if she's in the US. Outside the country--different story (experience talking here).
She's in the US. Texas. Right next door to me here in Louisiana.
I think I will see if there's anybody that can look at it for me.
On another note, Lepplady , I'm listening to Paolo right now & just remembered that I offered you music :) What do you already have/need? The ones John D. sent me wouldn't transfer over from my old 'puter, unfortunately, but I think I have everything Paolo's recorded.
Im pretty well caught up on my Paolo :) But I'll take anything you've got, in case there are versions I don't have.
I just hate what he's done to Last Request. Lately, it sounds like a flamenco lounge cover. Guh.
...did I show you the photo/video of me meeting himself?

I think so--by a train, maybe? I'd cry to hear a crappy copy of Last Request--I love that song.

Last Request at TITP.
Seriously. Do not play this if you're not prepared for such a different version.
It's kind of heartbreaking to hear the audience trying to sing the original version while he refuses to.
:Z:

Surprisingly, I like this one! I think the crowd singing along threw him a bit at the beginning (made me smile a lot, though :D), and then he went with a minimalist vibe. This song is so much a part of my last book--I had it on repeat for a while there (lol). I can't write without music, and this last one was heavy on Paolo, Ray LaMontagne, and Jack Johnson (amongst others, of course). It was a fun playlist!

I got his permission (face to face!) to use it in mine. *squeaks*

You might not want to take this quiz...

I'm dead!
You will die at the age of 57!

You are a very passionate, strong minded and spontaneous person. A mid-life crisis will make you feel young and wild again, and you will embark on a new adventure. Sadly, that adventure will end 7 years later, but hey, you've had the time of your life!
A new adventure...sounds like a plan. Just kidding about being dead already. Soon! Very soon!

I got 57 too! That means about the time my kids are all out of college, making their own way and the Ogre and I can have some peace and quiet (and maybe grandkids) - I'm outta here. Not fair. I'm going to have to lay off the red meat and quit the stress smoking. Maybe that'll gain me a few more years.
