Oh happy day! I haven't been so glad to see Friday in a long ,long time...like since last Friday.

I love your rent payment idea Sundrop !

My oldest daughter is learning some hard lessons. All I can do is watch. Keep her in your prayer intentions. I think she'll surface just fine, but geez, girl - listen to your mom. I only tell her things because I love her and want her life to be peaceful. I just want to hide my eyes until it's over. (this moment she's in , not her life)

I'm finally back at the gym - 3 weeks of sitting on my a$$ eating junk and sneaking outside to smoke really did a number on me. I thought I was going to die last night: picture yourself lying on a bench, hips on the end, legs extended with your feet gripping an exercise ball - lifting it up and down, not touching the floor but hovering 1" above and then lifting all the way up, now do this 96 times. And 96 push ups, and 96 sit ups, and on and on. The instructor's favorite number must be 96, that's 12 sets of 8 of every torturous movement he can think of in the course of an hour. But I'll get back in my groove soon. The body remembers.

I haven't had much time to catch up with everyone in here. But I'm thinking of you and praying everyone is well. I really consider you all family, even if I can't visit with you as much as I'd like.:love_heart::love_heart::love_heart:

Actually...if you followed me around I'd follow a pattern similar to a woman's shopping patterns...oops, forgot the gum over in the candy aisle...do that...strolling along, looking to the side there...nice! bump into some grumpy old man in a sweater...grab the gum, Wrigley's Spearmint, on sale, about five or six store attendants stocking shelves preparing for Halloween nobody directing traffic...the grumpy old man is following me so I execute a speed-turn yooey and lose him...nod to the little girl in the jump seat of the cart being pushed by a gum-chewing mommy...she gives me the high-five signal...the little girl not the mommy who starts to text her friends about the pedophile in Walmart...cruise down the canned goods aisle looking for tuna fish...up and down the aisle three four times...no luck...then realize I have to get on the floor and reach way in the back...there's a shriek from the end...get to the line of registers and realize I forgot three things...go back...forget one of them say the hail with it I'm frazzled get in line behind the gum-smacker but all is well as the little girl is smiling. A smile goes a long way.
Women may shop erratically, but we get everything. Guys would be dining on cereal and dog biscuits all week. ...and they'd probably be fine with that. LOL!

Ok, I'm with you up to the part of sitting and eating junk, but that next part. It seems like an awful lot of effort and pain....?

Happy Friday, everyone!

I have many errands to run today. Have RJ, so we'll see how much about installing a car seat I actually remember. And how much I remember about shopping for groceries with a little one. (But, how great is it that I can do these things, today, in my own vehicle?!?):encouragement:

Just took him in the bathroom with me while I took my shower. Armed with toys and a sippy, I sat him on the floor and hopped in. First, he cried when he couldn't see me, then he kept pulling the shower curtain back. All I could think of was Toto in the Wizard of Oz...and that I probably scarred the poor kid for life. (Have I mentioned how different life is right now? I was hoping to get my shower in before he woke up but he woke up before the kids left for school. So now I'm wondering if I should wait until after his nap to attempt all this today.)

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Sending big hugs and positive vibes to all! :love_heart:

I have to plan my showers (and every other aspect of my life) around my Sadie's needs. It's hard for some people to understand how difficult those little things are that so many take for granted! I'm not a mother to human kids, but I'm sure moms with young or sick children can all relate to this plight.
Once again, many congrats on your new vehicle-I am so happy for you! =D

Have fun, CAT! Remember to get the wee nipper some free cookies in the bakery at the grocery store!!

Not going to bring it on this post, morgan. I know how hard it is with animals that we love so much. More power to you and her!

Have a great weekend everyone!!
I am off from this weekend and tomorrow we are having a little party with boyfriend. We have invited couple of our friends and
I look forward tomorrow, is gonna be so fun. As I posted in the weather thread, yes we got snow middle of the day and it was
pretty slippery, many still driving with summer tires and I don't know how many accidents have happened today. But hopefully no
one has been injured. The wind is blowing very hard now and it's raining. Crazy weather here today. I hope for better weather tomorrow.

Take care of you and be well. Please stay safe. Mother Nature have forgot her chill pill again.

(((all in need or not)))
