The Time Warp
Serves 1:
1 oz Gin
1 oz Cointreau
¼ oz Absinthe
¼ oz Lillet blanc
Lime
Fresh Sage
Combine all liquids in a shaker with plenty of ice. Rim glass with lime and sugar. Strain out ice as you pour. Garnish with lime and fresh sage.
That sounds like it should be named "The Blackout!" ;;D

I'm so sorry, LL. I completely understand how you're feeling right now. It's crazy how the people closest to us just don't get it! I wish he would realize what a small sacrifice it would be on his part, but what a huge blessing it would be to you!
(((((Lepper))))) Tall Guy is missing out, ain't he?
Thanks. It's not about the movie. It's about how dismissive he is about things that are important to me, of which this is only one. Because of his Bah-humbugness, we don't decorate for Halloween anymore, or Christmas. He says "You can do it if you want to. Nothing's stopping you." But doesn't realize that these are things I want to do WITH him. Not despite him.
*sigh*

YOU GOT

From spelling, to apostrophes, to conjugations - you are a Grammar Master! You were probably the envy of your English class as you swerved and dodged your way through the complications of grammar and the weird, wild English language. Most people really struggle with these words and phrases, but you were unfazed! You are probably the one in your social group that politely corrects everyone as they destroy proper grammar and spelling, and we respect that! (We know you are probably correcting our grammar right now.) Someone has to maintain order, right? You are a Grammar Hero! Now, share this quiz with your friends and family and let’s see if they can pass the test!

I've heard the best way to watch that movie is in a theater crowd. I really need to see it!
That's it, exactly! We have the DVD, if we just want to watch it. To have it playing locally, on Halloween, complete with audience partici...... pation (even if it's only me making an asseth of myselfeth. Hey. 352 shows as Frank N Furter in my youth. I have no shame left). That's the fun of it!
I won't go full-out, but I still have this cape...
(me dressed as Frankie back when I had the figure for it. Look at your own risk)

Behind you
Use this as a learning experience. Step back and take stock of what caused the panic attack. For the next interview- go in with a mind set of this does not matter- no pressure on yourself is allowed. Think of it as a game, a party to show off your latest trick- Anything but thinking of the experience as a "job Interview". When the right job is meant to be, it will be!

I will. I think I know what caused it.
I was prepping for 2 days. Obsessed about it. I was all over the website. I knew so much about the founding fathers of the company... etc.. etc.. Then I could not sleep. Of course, I did not eat.

Then up at 6 am waiting for 1pm interview. And I am good at what I do!

Ok, carry on. I am better now. I stuck my head in a pillow and was ashamed of myself for awhile, then got over it... Ate a bag of jelly beans. (hey, so what?) I was upset...

This job is not on your path of life. While I know the pain and confusion you are feeling (I've been there, done that), I know that there is going to be an even better job for you, just down the road. Have faith, have patience. It'll come!!!

It's supposed to start snowing here this evening and keep it up until around 8 tomorrow night, with 4-6 inches of accumulation.
I'm ready to stay indoors for the weekend.....have movies to watch, and popcorn on hand.....and a brand new heating system to keep us toasty.
Also have a second interview this evening with the owner of the salon I really like.
.....Oh yeah, and the car is leaking oil between the head gasket and the block. The engine will need to be pulled out to make the repairs.....at a cost of around $1000.....oh joy. It not as bleak as it sounds, though.....as long as I keep a close eye on the oil level, I can buy some time to save the money.

Happy Halloween, Y'all!!!
