Happy Monday (Tuesday for Flake)!! And great new week!!

Was a interesting weekend after all. Juho and his brother came home last night with the train. The car broke down. Now the
broken car is at his sister's place in South Finland and next weekend Juho and his dad probably go to get the car back home. I was
super worried yesterday after work. I called Juho after work and he told me what have happened with the car and that they come home
as soon as they get tickets to the train. He promised to call me later when they have the tickets and are on the way home. I didn't hear
from him before 8 pm and at that moment I was out of worry. You can't image what a relief it was when he finally called and said that
now they are on the way home. I don't care about the car, most important thing to me was that I got my darling home safe and sound.
I'd picked him (their dad picked his brother up) up around 10:15 pm from the train station and we drove to his parents house to get another car for him. Then we drove home and went to sleep. It was almost midnight before we got to bed.

It's been raining most of the day today and all snow we got this weekend have melted away. It's just above zero.
Neesy- Stay safe and warm -15C it's pretty cold. Brrr........

Take care of you everyone and stay safe too.

(((all in need or not)))

Apparently I poisoned the king. Got caught, punished and left for dead, but survived and lived happily ever after! I'm good with that.

Happy Monday (or Tuesday for you wild, down under folken!) Short week! Hooray!

Neesy, unless you work retail, most businesses are closed on Thursday and Friday. I guess that's so we can get more shopping in. I have said many times before, I wish we celebrated Thanksgiving the same time as the Canadians. I might have time to get in the mood and ready for it then! LOL

Hope you all have a great day. Stay safe and warm whereever you are!

What Crime Did You Commit in Your Past Life?

Conducting the Underground Railroad
2e437214-f92f-43e1-8229-40d004b9260e.jpg

You were an outspoken abolitionist during the 19th century and made it your mission to do whatever it took to help slaves escape to freedom! This meant becoming a conductor of the Underground Railroad, a network of secret routes and safe houses that were established in order to help slaves find their way into free states and Canada. While living in Kentucky in 1861, your home served as a sanctuary in which slaves could eat a hot meal and sleep in a warm bed before heading across the border to Indiana, a free state. When a bounty hunter suspected you were assisting the slaves, you were turned in and accused of being an agent of the Railroad. You were taken to court and served some jail time, but you were soon released when Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation in January 1863, which freed not only the slaves, but you as well!

Oh, I like this one!
Running a Speakeasy

In your past life, you were convicted of operating an illegal saloon, also known as a speakeasy, during the Prohibition Era. During this period which lasted between 1920 and 1933, the sale, manufacture and distribution of alcohol was illegal, but that wasn’t going to stop you! Your establishment was a place where people of all backgrounds could come and let loose, despite the restrictions on liquor. Before long, you started earning a major profit, but that all came crashing down when your beloved business was raided by the Bureau of Prohibition and you were arrested. In your present day life, you still enjoy meeting your friends at the bar for a cold one only nowadays, it’s perfectly legal!

Ooo, that one sounds too sad. I avoid triggers that send me down the rabbit hole.
I thought it was pretty joyous, in a human sense. Dementia et al is pretty sad, but this is about music therapy, something I strongly believe can be useful in reaching people who might otherwise be unreachable. Think of the strong, almost visceral reaction you can have to some songs. Now imagine that hearing that song is a key to you recognizing a person, or being able to understand what's going on around you. Only smells are more powerful memory triggers than music (or so I've read :) ).

That's a nice positive way to look at that!

While living in colonial Massachusetts during the Salem Witch Trials in 1692, you were charged with performing witchcraft! Throughout this time, residents of Salem were accused of witchcraft and a series of trials and executions took place. After a young woman in the Village claimed to be possessed by the devil, she accused you of inflicting her with the spirit of Satan. After the rumors began spreading, a wave of hysteria washed over the community and you were thrown in jail. Luckily for you, the woman who accused you admitted that she was lying and you were set free.
