Turning in my resignation at work today...... I'm still so excited, I could spit!!!

I wrote a formal resignation statement and handed it to her. She didn't say anything to me in person, but waited until she left work and sent me a text saying that she was sorry if she has done something to hurt me, etc etc.....
She didn't really seem surprised. She sent a text to all my co workers telling them that effective Dec 1st, I would no longer be working there.....I found that really odd.
We will see what today brings.....I have only two days left, since it is a holiday weekend.

Just received my Christmas present to myself in the mail today- a 1st printing hardback of East Of Eden by John Steinbeck! It's absolutely beautiful! The dust jacket is nearly flawless with hardly any fading to the spine at all, which for a 60 year old book is saying alot! I'm doing my happy dance!!!!

Well Merry Xmas to you KRF!! What a nice gift-giver you are!

Every time I do a re-read of it I find something new. It's crazy-weird! To quote Steinbeck's intro:

Back from MRI. It was way way worse than I thought it would be. I was expecting a CAT scan type of thing. I have had that. No lights a spinning this time.

This horrible drumming and chirping all the time in that tube. They gave me earplugs and something to hold and squeeze if I could not stand it anymore.

I took it. No squeeze.

Then hells, finally get out of there and walk outside, only to get hit up by people asking for money and cigs
