A 'joint' made out of pizza? Is that even legal in your state?Home made? Pizza joint?
That looks horrible!

Yeah I thought so too but Lin likes clowns! That looks horrible!
Gee - how did I miss your comment? You must be talking to Dana Jean - I come from a Canadian "province" and it isn't even one of the more popular ones!A 'joint' made out of pizza? Is that even legal in your state?
How did they react? Did it come as a surprise?Turning in my resignation at work today...... I'm still so excited, I could spit!!!
I wrote a formal resignation statement and handed it to her. She didn't say anything to me in person, but waited until she left work and sent me a text saying that she was sorry if she has done something to hurt me, etc etc.....How did they react? Did it come as a surprise?

She didn't really seem surprised. She sent a text to all my co workers telling them that effective Dec 1st, I would no longer be working there.....I found that really odd.
We will see what today brings.....I have only two days left, since it is a holiday weekend.
Thank you, Spidey! So far, my clients have been very supportive, and I already have a couple of appointments on the books for next week.Seems a tad cold on her part. She could have at least faced you and your co workers. May your day go smoothly- an sonly success and calm at the new job.
Well Merry Xmas to you KRF!! What a nice gift-giver you are!Just received my Christmas present to myself in the mail today- a 1st printing hardback of East Of Eden by John Steinbeck! It's absolutely beautiful! The dust jacket is nearly flawless with hardly any fading to the spine at all, which for a 60 year old book is saying alot! I'm doing my happy dance!!!!
When I opened it up I was like 'How did I know???'Well Merry Xmas to you KRF!! What a nice gift-giver you are!
As everyone here in the states starts gearing up for T-day and travelling, just a wish to stay safe!
((All in need or not))
Gave me a chill (Good writing does that ).Every time I do a re-read of it I find something new. It's crazy-weird! To quote Steinbeck's intro:
'Dear Pat,
You came upon me carving some kind of little figure out of wood and you said "Why don't you make something for me?"
I asked you what you wanted, and you said "A box."
"What for?"
"To put things in."
"What things?"
"Whatever you have," you said.
Well, here's your box. Nearly everything I have is in it, and it is not full. Pain and excitement are in, and feeling good or bad and evil thoughts and good thoughts - the pleasure of design and some despair and the indescribable joy of creation.
And on top of these are all the gratitude and love I have for you.
And still the box is not full.
John.'
This book is a treasure!
This intro reminds me of the one Steve has in The Stand:
'For Tabby,
This dark chest of wonders.'
I always find something new in this one, too.
Ick.
TBH, I don't like him much at all in anything. But definitely not as Flagg (lol). This was my first thought too. I don't think he's right for that roll.
