Morning! I'll take some coffee too please! I was awake most of the night coughing. Hubby is sleeping off his night shift, but don't think he is going to get any real rest, he burned his eyes welding last night. :( Going to be a very long painful day for him. He doesn't get flashed very often anymore, but there were a few of them working side by side last night, and that's usually when it happens, from the side. Not much to do other than ride it out.

Found all my cupcakes yesterday, and they weren't even as expensive as I feared. Bonus! That makes me feel better about taking the easy road with them this year.

Today's mission is to grocery shop for Christmas dinner and Christmas Eve dinner at the inlaws too. And for cookie and fudge ingredients. And finally sit down and wrap all the darn presents! And baby hubby a little bit too. ;)

Hmm, seems like there was something else I was going to tell you all, but I lost it. I'll be in the bean bags for a bit yet this morning, maybe I'll find it again! :D Have a great day! Sending big hugs and positive vibes to all!

Healing vibes for you and hubby, Tina. Take a long break - bean bag central has special rejuvenating powers. ( ok, maybe I've been tasting the egg nog too much)
;-D Nah, you're not tasting too much! I'd tell ya if you were! ;)

I did remember what I was going to share though! There was going to be nothing under the tree for hubby this year, because his gift was a gun safe so nothing I could either get here by myself or hide. :D It's not a huge fancy one like he eventually wants but it will work for now. He has been wanting the Chris Kyle autobiography so I picked it up for him the other day when I picked up a book Ty needs for a gift exchange. Put it in one of my bookcases because I figured he'd never see it there until I got it wrapped.

So we stopped in the bookstore yesterday and he sees that it was marked 50% off and picks it up! I had to tell him I already bought it. So it will still get wrapped and put under the tree but now we're back to him knowing everything he's getting again.xD

Tina, how about three of those Christmas balls with the children's handprint that make a snowman/ or just a simple "love" note from you wrapped up in a box with pretty bow.
I am going to wait until the after Christmas sales and get some more balls for them to make some for us too! But I love the love note idea! That should get me some good brownie points! :D;)

Shiest! Morning time is my quiet coffee sKMB time and for some reason my 13 year son is up and moving around in his room. His floorboards are creaking right over my head. I suppose all my coughing and nose blowing woke him - I'm finally draining Yay! - but he's going to wake er'body up, and I'm not making pancakes before 7:30am - not doing it.
A woman's gotta stick up for herself.

Not too much going on here today. I go for dental gum surgery tomorrow morning. They take tissue from your soft palate and apply it as a graft to areas where the gums are receding. Ouch!
Happy Thursday everyone! Six shopping days to Christmas (no need to panic, though!) :zip_it::biggrin2:
p.s. Spidey - your idea is awfully nice - a handwritten note means a lot
Holly - no pancake shall be made before it's time! :m_pan:
cat - healing vibes for hubby's eyesight - take care of that - it is precious
@Cowboy - howdy - how's life "on the range"?

Oh honey - that sounds horrid! I'm hoping there'll be lots of feel no pain drugs? I'm thinking something a little stronger than Tylenol 3.

I should be so lucky, eh? If I ask for sedation I need someone to drive me home. I suggested a taxi since hubby is still up North but they said no, they would not send me home in a taxi. So I guess I will just "grin and bear it" (excuse the pun)
