He told me to email this week. I want the other job - but it is contract to hire, no benefits for 6 months.
The first one - I don't know how much they are offering, but benefits are outstanding.

Second one told me they would make a decision in "a week or so" I know that one is pretty decent $.
After all this mess, I am going to look out for myself.

I will call the recruiter for the second job first, to see if she can move that along.

Both interviews went really well. I went in with a different attitude, showed my portfolio talked the talk without being nervous at all.

I am just glad that something is happening. I am still sending resumes out. arrrrrrgh

I recently read the biography of Keith Richards he also tells about the Beatles. Keef and John have been friends. Maybe a book you should read Kurben.
I'm reading Tune In A big biography of the beatles by Mark Lewisohn. It is really good. I think it is in thrre parts. I only got the first part so far and that is 900+ pages. At the end they stand at the verge of their breakthrough in England.

Looked it up on Amazon rather expencive biography. But for a fan and when it's well written ...
I guess in the first part the Rolling Stones won't be part but maybe in the two others. Maybe we can talk about then.
I guess I should read more Biographies. I am waiting for the Hilary Clinton Paperback edition and maybe I will read Steve Jobs as well.

Expensive is right but it has gotten loads of praise and is very wellwritten. It seemed to scream at me from the bokstores shelf: "Buy me. Buy me" it whispered in a mesmerizing tone. And i bought it. Have never been very good at resisting temptations.....

What or Who is this troll you speak of, Lepp? I hope not a member of our board. Sorry you had to deal with that.
I'll get over it. :)
Already have, actually, thanks to a Skype with the face to my left. she lives 2000 miles away from me, so contact is rare and welcome.

Sending out resumes is at least something to do, to make a person feel industrious.

Hi Everybody!!!
Looooong time since I popped in here! Way too busy these days. Barely have time to breathe, it seems. I do my best to keep up with all of you...I'm probably the most active "lurker" here. Some of the most active posters don't even know I exist, but yet I know them...weird. I read posts most every day. Not exactly sure why I don't post more. Part of it is my job...I work split shifts seven days a week, making it hard to be here much. I don't mean to complain, at least I have a job! Just miss hanging out here.

I am soooo done with Winter! Was the first time it snowed. But it keeps snowing! Sheesh...I think we're getting record amounts of snow this winter, too. Ugh.

I'd like to be able to say I'll pop in more often, but it's not likely right now, sadly. Just know that I wish I could...I miss being here 62 hours a day!!!! I think I'll try to plan a couple days vacation...catch up with some of you if I can!

Sending love, hugs, prayers, good vibes to all....
((((((((((((((Everyone))))))))))))))

P.S. I should be sleeping! I rarely do that anymore...seems several of us insomniacs should develop a plan...
Hi, Debbie! You should post more!
