Behind you
Ok kids - I have been working with a recruiter for the last week. We have been back and forth with this one company... "the love your resume" "you are perfect fit" I'm not trying to get myself hyped up, been there before.
They just sent me a pre-screening evaluation. It was full of check boxes of how to describe yourself,
and how others see you. This is a first. They ask your age. I don't think this is legal.
Anyway, I am "happy", "nice", "loyal" and all that good stuff.

My "eager" and "hard working" fingers are crossed.

Good luck, sweetie! My lazy, arthritic fingers are crossed for you as well.

It is not legal to ask you about your age and from what I found when I was checking to make sure that wasn't just a misconception, any questions that reveal your age, race, national origin, gender, religion, marital status and sexual orientation are off-limits.

Nah, I liked him in the book far more than on the TV show.
Seen 8 episodes now. Made me realise that the book is much better.
What i liked so much of that first installment in the series was all the strong characters besides the main characters Jamie and Claire. Dougal, Calum, Mrs FitzGibbons, Geillis Duncan, Alexander Randall, Jenny Fraser (Jamies sister) and her husband, Murtagh, Ned Gowan and so on. They don't come forward as strong. And i don't understand why they made her dislike being in the 18,th century. That is the constant dialogue she keeps with herself "why do i actually feel content being here when i ought to feel horrible and uncomfortable. It is duty that makes her try to go back. All this action from the husbands side in the 20,th century is totally irrelevant and slows down the pace and steals time from the real story. It is pure invention from the tvseriesmakers. But most of all i dislike this invention that they don't like her and she don't like them. It is a difference between don't trust completely and don't like and the series miss that difference.

aaarrrrrgggghhhhh. It's been a long day already. Woke up to the mutts next door at 4am. Awoken again just a few hours later. And I don't have any coffee. Blasphemy! But I'm forging ahead. I've got another adventure for the Kid n Cat in my paintings. They're going to Paris today.
I love my job!

What happened with the court case? (I may have missed earlier messages)

They got it continued a month. So we might find out something at the end of this month instead.
I'm making sure to include phone calls to the sheriff about the pups in the wee hours, including the night of the last court date, a few times in between, and last night/this morning.
And, to my dismay, it looks like he had another pooch delivered today. Really, dude? Really?

A recent headline about a neighbor winning a half a million dollar civil suit for dog barking has my interest seriously piqued.
All I can say is "Thanks for the precedent."
