I think you and I would get along famously...except Floorball. What the heck is Floorball??? :)
shouldercontact.jpg

This is floorball. Played indoors, involves a lot of running and have a weak resemblance to hockey except it is forbidden to tackle and no skates. The real professional team use a goalie but we always play with a flying goaltender so that everybody is involved. Sadly i'm not as fast as i was 20 years ago...... Have been playing for 30 years now.....

Good thread kurben!

I love this board and the people here.
I love my family and that includes my furry babies.
I love a beautiful autumn day, not too hot, not too cold.
I love to sit in my rocker on my patio and gently go back and forth.
I love tea.
I love my books.
I love to be creative.
I love to learn new things from a variety of people.
I love to ask questions.
I love my garden when I plant it.
I love the smell of fresh air.
I love the taste of glazed donuts.
I love to see people laughing and being silly and carefree.
I love to hear the crowd at a local baseball diamond. The sounds drift to me in my backyard while I sit and rock on my patio. I imagine the kids and the families. Grandparents watching. Everyone getting a little sunburn and spitting sunflower seeds.

There are just so many things to list!
OH MY LORD! I FORGOT THE MOST IMPORTANT LOVE:

Mr. F. F. Titanium! although Mr. Christmas Tree still holds a soft spot in my heart.

So, so many things. These are not in any order, just what I'm coming up with as I think about this topic.

Coming here after a hard day's work and reading the posts from my other 'family'. You guys ROCK my heart and my mind!
My Mom- she's the best. She ain't perfect, but who the H*ll is? She loves me unconditionally and that, my friends, is what life is all about. 'Cause Jesus H. Christopher Robinson I darn sure am NOT perfect!
My immediate family. The three sisters and my brother. There's nothing better than hugging them and saying 'I love you!' and looking into their eyes and knowing that it is mutual.
My lovely Mods. The 'glue' that holds us all together here. 'Lovely' is an inadequate word.
All of my beautiful cats that I've had throughout my life and the ones I have with me now. Nothing is better than coming home after a hard day's work and seeing the unconditional love in their eyes, even AFTER I feed them! Having my black-and-white fur friend come up into my bed and lay down on my leg to sleep and knowing that she trusts me with all of her heart.
The smell of my lillies out in my yard.
Fresh cut grass.
Any Stephen King book- old or new! (well, most of them anyway!)
Turning some of you folken onto Don Robertson or Joe Lansdale or Dan Simmons or Robert McCammon or.......(you get the picture).
Cheetos!

I love my family
I love my dogs
I love stories, whether I'm reading, writing, watching, or listening to them. I don't even care if they're made up or true.
I love music so, so much
I love soft sweaters
I love my frustrating, aggravating, inspirational, childish, hopeful country
I love hiking and biking
I love natural fabrics (cotton, wool, leather for coats & furniture), wooden & wicker furniture
I love wine, water, coffee, tea
I love good, simple food and cooking/preparing it
I love the smell of clothes dried on a clothesline

Thank you for this simple, positive thread, Kurben. It's made me smile so often today. (BTW, my husband is researching the best way to get some dry roasted nuts to you--they're his favorite, too--lol)

This proves once again that the SKMB is a wealth of knowledge. Thank you, Kurben. I learn something new each day here.

Under your bed
I love old obscure books
I love a good pair of jeans
I love my favorite bartendress
I love good rock and roll, old country music, be bop jazz and big band swing, Vagner, Beethoven, and Mozart. And Bob Dylan.
I love Mary Shelley (I swear, if I could just transport back to around 1823, look her up, sweep her off her feet--tell her I'm Washington Irving or something)
I love a big, fat, 1000+ page Stephen King novel
I love a wild, ramblin, spontaneous, amphetamine-fueled Kerouac novel
I love an hilarious William Burroughs 'routine'
I love a snarky Raymond Chandler quip 'as conspicuous as a tarantula on a piece of angel food...'
I love the way Steve Ditko drew the Amazing Spider-Man (and anything else)
I love the way Frank Frazetta painted women
I love smoking (but try cutting back)
I love fried chicken, rare steak, and raw oysters
I love the smell of napalm in the morning
I love forcing moderators to read though random lists of top-of-the-head miscellania...
